Access of Ukrainian Refugees to the Cyprus Labour Market
Regarding the above issue and following the Executive Decision (EU) 2022/382 of the Council, of 4 March 2022, The competent Ministries of the Republic of Cyprus have decided the following:
1. For the purpose of granting the status of Temporary Protection, Ukrainian citizens coming to Cyprus must submit an application. You may find the relevant application for temporary protection at the link below, which can be submitted at any District Immigration Office of the Police.

2. The examination of the applications will be done by the District Immigration Offices and the issuance of a residence permit in Cyprus will be issued by the Civil Migration and Registry Department. The Temporary protection status will have a duration of one year.
3. By receiving temporary protection status, the beneficiary may engage in an employed or self-employed activity in the Republic of Cyprus, subject to the conditions laid down by the regulatory and institutional framework in each profession, as well as in other activities such as participation in educational programs, vocational training and internships.
4. Persons holding a temporary protection residence permit are entitled to register as unemployed in the Register of Unemployed of the PES (under Code 1) and receive all services provided by the Cyprus PES.
Πρόσβαση Ουκρανών Προσφύγων στην Κυπριακή Αγορά Εργασίας
Αναφορικά με το πιο πάνω θέμα και κατόπιν της Εκτελεστικής Απόφασης (ΕΕ) 2022/382 του Συμβουλίου, της 4ης Μαρτίου 2022, τα αρμόδια Υπουργεία της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας αποφάσισαν τα ακόλουθα:
1. Για τους σκοπούς της χορήγησης του καθεστώτος της Προσωρινής Προστασίας, οι Ουκρανοί πολίτες που έρχονται στην Κύπρο πρέπει να υποβάλουν αίτηση. Μπορείτε να βρείτε τη σχετική αίτηση για προσωρινή προστασία στον παρακάτω σύνδεσμο, την οποία μπορείτε να υποβάλετε σε οποιοδήποτε Επαρχιακό Γραφείο Μετανάστευσης της Αστυνομίας.

2. Η εξέταση των αιτήσεων θα γίνεται από τα Επαρχιακά Γραφεία Μετανάστευσης και η έκδοση άδειας διαμονής στην Κύπρο θα εκδίδεται από το Αρχείο Πληθυσμού και Μετανάστευσης. Το καθεστώς προσωρινής προστασίας θα έχει διάρκεια ενός έτους.
3. Με τη λήψη του καθεστώτος προσωρινής προστασίας, ο δικαιούχος μπορεί να ασκεί μισθωτή ή μη μισθωτή δραστηριότητα στην Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία, υπό τις προϋποθέσεις που ορίζει το κανονιστικό και θεσμικό πλαίσιο του κάθε επαγγέλματος, καθώς και σε άλλες δραστηριότητες όπως π.χ. συμμετοχή σε εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, επαγγελματική κατάρτιση και πρακτική άσκηση.
4. Οι κάτοχοι άδειας προσωρινής προστατευτικής παραμονής δικαιούνται να εγγραφούν ως άνεργοι στο Μητρώο Ανέργων της ΔΥΑ (στον Κωδ. 1) και να λαμβάνουν όλες τις υπηρεσίες που παρέχει η ΔΥΑ Κύπρου.
